Terms of Service
What you're agreeing to when you use Prella.
Effective date: May 1, 2026. By using Prella, you agree to these terms.
What Prella is
Prella is a free planning tool for newly licensed beauty professionals. We help you build a service menu, create a personalized equipment shopping list, and project your first months of earnings.
Prella is free to use. We earn revenue through affiliate commissions when you purchase products we recommend — at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
Pricing estimates
Prella's service pricing suggestions are estimates based on publicly available market data and our own research. They are not guarantees of what you will earn. Actual rates vary by city, experience level, clientele, and service quality.
Do your own research before setting your prices. Talk to other beauty pros in your area. Check what local spas and salons charge. Prella is a starting point, not a definitive answer.
Product recommendations
Product links on Prella go to Amazon and may be affiliate links. We recommend products we believe are appropriate for new beauty professionals, but we can't verify the quality, availability, or suitability of every product for every situation. Check reviews and confirm suitability before purchasing equipment you'll use on clients.
Your responsibilities
By using Prella, you agree to:
- Use Prella for lawful purposes only
- Not attempt to scrape, copy, or reproduce Prella's content or tools at scale for commercial use
- Not misrepresent yourself or provide false information when using the plan builder
If you provide your email address, you agree to receive a follow-up email with your personalized shopping list. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email we send.
No professional or legal advice
Prella is an informational tool. Nothing on Prella is legal, financial, licensing, or business advice. Rules for operating as a beauty professional vary by state — licensing requirements, zoning laws, home studio regulations, and health codes are your responsibility to research and comply with. When in doubt, consult a licensed professional in your state.
Limitation of liability
Prella is provided "as is." We make no warranties — express or implied — about the accuracy of pricing data, the fitness of any product recommendation, or the results you'll achieve by following our suggestions. To the extent permitted by law, Prella's liability for any claim arising from use of the site is limited to the amount you paid us — which, given that Prella is free, is zero.
Intellectual property
Prella's content — articles, tools, copy, and design — belongs to Prella. You're welcome to share links to our articles and guides. You may not reproduce substantial portions of our content without permission. To ask, email hi@prella.app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Prella evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Prella after changes means you accept the updated terms.
